Bob McKittrick – Chair – Consulting Structural and Civil Engineer

Bob McKittrick was with Scott Wilson (now AECOM) for 39 years where he had been a Main Board Director and Chief Operating Officer Europe before retiring in 2007. During his career he worked on bridge, Light Rail Transit and reclamation projects around the world including in Hong Kong for seven years, and in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, South Africa, Kuwait and Thailand for shorter periods. He was an expert witness on many occasions. He was President of the IStructE in 2002/2003, a Visiting Professor at Sheffield University, a co-founder of the UK Anti-Corruption Forum of which he is currently chair, and is chair of GIACC-UK.

Sam Eastwood – Solicitor

Sam is a UK-qualified investigations and regulatory partner based in Mayer Brown’s London office, with a particular focus on anti-corruption and business and human rights. Sam has acted as Independent Compliance Monitor for the World Bank, African Development Bank and the Serious Fraud Office. He was part of the UK project team that developed ISO 37001, the international standard for anti-bribery management systems. He sits on the board of Spotlight on Corruption and is a member of the Advisory Committee of University College London’s Centre for Ethics and Law.

Hamish Goldie-Scot – Consulting Engineer

Hamish has 45 years’ experience of working with others to optimise the sustainable socio-economic outcomes of public infrastructure investments.  After working for a major international engineering consultancy for 34 years, including as its Business Conduct Compliance Manager, he has been an independent consultant since 2013.  He has worked in over fifty countries, been resident in six, and in three countries has worked long-term within government systems. He is a longstanding practitioner of more collaborative approaches to improving performance in the planning, delivery and maintenance of public infrastructure, and a Technical Adviser to CoST – the Infrastructure Transparency Initiative.

Alex Katon – Chartered Accountant

Alex is a co-founder and Director of GIACC-UK Limited. He is also the founder and CEO of Arc Energy Consulting, a power and infrastructure strategic advisory business. During his career Alex has held senior management positions for both private sector infrastructure developers such as Sumitomo, International Power and Engie, as well as publicly funded organisations such as CDC (now BII), Globeleq and InfraCo Africa. Whilst CEO of InfraCo Africa, Alex established an internal development team and obtained certification for ISO 37001, the anti-bribery management system. Alex is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Directors.

Petter Matthews – Civil Society Expert

Petter is a built environment and infrastructure governance specialist with more than 40 years’ experience. He is Executive Director of CoST, the Infrastructure Transparency Initiative, that works in 20 countries, and improves transparency and accountability in infrastructure investment. He is also Executive Director of Engineers Against Poverty, an independent NGO working on infrastructure policy and practice. He is a member of the OECD’s ‘Anti-Corruption Leaders Hub’ and has supported the development of a range of global initiatives, including most recently the Blue Dot Network, ‘Fast-Infra label’ and the FCDO’s ‘Green Cities and Infrastructure Programme’.
